Check it out in enjoy.
A couple of things I have already came across.
I have noticed just like others, a little bit of flex in the keyboard on the left side around the "F" for the most part.
Sometimes if I have a disk in the dvd drive it will eject on it's own without me hitting the eject buttons either it be the touch button or when I use the Fn+F10 key to eject.
I have had the touch bar up top go out once since I have had it. The eject button was lit up and nothing would work. One thing that helped me out without rebooting, I turned the wi-fi-blue tooth button off, then back on and it fixed the problem. I do not know if this is a permanent solution for it has only happened once but it worked fine when I tried it.
Other thing that kinda bugs me and this might be totally user error here is. I have a Razer Pro Click Mobile blue tooth mouse and I have to uninstall it from my computer and reinstall it for it to work right. Now, it asks for some kind or type of passkey but when I try to use one or even let windows make one for me the mouse does not get found properly. The paperwork in the box says nothing about needing or even suggesting to use a passkey during setup. I went to Razers website and it was as about as helpful as me watching paint dry.
Has anyone else had problems with this mouse or any blue tooth mouse(s) with this kind of laptop? I hope I am doing it right or something needs to be set differently. Any help or suggestions on this matter would be greatful, as for this is my main gripe is this blue tooth mouse thing and I would like to get it fixed. Thanks again for everyone's help and incite, have a great day.![]()
Peace,
Evan

I just got a Dell Bluetooth mouse for my Studio 1535. When you add a new Bluetooth device via Windows, there should be an option to not use a passkey, which is what the Dell instructions told me to do, and it's been working fine since.
Glad to see nothing's gone cripplingly wrong so far.

The whole bluetooth mouse thing was a users error on my part, I kept resetting or trying to reconnect the mouse to the laptop when it had already been setup, I did not know how to use it I guess. Once I setup the mouse all I had to was turn the mouse on and off. LOL I kinda wanted to kick myself for that one but no harm no foul.
The touch buttons up top acted up again yesterday, the eject button was lit up and it kept ejecting my dvd I had in there. I tired the wireless adapter on/off trick and it did nothing... LOL but I waited about 15-20 seconds let it sort things out the light went off and I could use it normally. I guess I need not leave a disk in there when I am not using it and maybe it will not happen.
All and all things are going well... I have a WEI score of 4.0 only due to the ati card onboard. The cpu gets a 5.3, 5.7 for the hd, and 5.9 for the ram. Which is not too shabby.
Peace, -
Try this: when you power on your computer, instead of just tapping the power button, try holding it down while the media lights do that little back and forth animation. If you let go of the power button after that's done, then odds are the eject button won't stick, and if it does, it will probably be gone before you even get to Windows. -
I have found that if you keep the wifi catcher switch to the off position when you turn on the laptop it does not happen to me.
I don't know if that idea has come up before. -
How is the sound quality on the dell studio 15 SE. Is it any better than the regular studio 15?
