I have a Dell Inspiron 6400. My Enter key came off and I can't put it back on. I think I lost one of the white plastic pieces because I purposefully removed my Caps Lock to compare. Observe:

The first is a photo of my Caps Lock: you can see two plastic pieces.
The second is my Enter and I only have one plastic piece.

Can someone confirm that I should have two plastic pieces on the Enter as well? If so, can I order this somewhere?

if you're still within warranty, Dell should send you a new keyboard.

Are you sure that the other white piece isn't stuck to the bottom of the black enter key?

I don't think this is worth replacing the entire keyboard. Yeah, I'm sure it's not stuck to the Enter key lol.

if you can't manually reattach it, chances are it's broken. happened to the "I" key on my laptop. although i hardly used the laptop's keyboard, it bothered me to see a slightly busted keyboard so i bought a replacement on ebay.
