I sure hate for my 1st post to be negative, but I must share my dell experience with you guys. Let me start off by saying I love dell. I have owned dell computers for a long time and I love the support I normally get. This time I ordered an XPS 1530 from the dell outlet and it was supposed to be at my house on the 28th. It didn't come until today, which is not a big deal, but when I opened the box they sent me the wrong laptop. It was an inspiron 1520. So now instead of having my laptop today, I have to wait for them to build a new one because the one I purchased from the outlet they gave to someone else. I guess I do get a new laptop with the same specs as the refurbished one I was going to get. I just have to wait again, and I get tired of waiting. Anyway, I am sure good things are to come if I can just just patient. :)

Wow. They're going to build you a new laptop with the same specs as the refurbished one? Not sure how that's a "negative" experience exactly. :p

Yeah, I know it's a let down not getting it as soon as you'd hoped, but that's pretty sweet of Dell to send a brand new one. They could just as easily have scoured around for another refurb.

I agree. Bad Dell. I am not planning on ordering from Dell for a while, since I got some major bad customer service. Michael Dell must understand that a few years ago, I had decent customer service because it was half US and half in India. I call now, and I get some India guys and gals who speak broken rapidfire English that I can't understand.

You ordered refurbished, you darn well deserve to get what you paid for.
Dell should build that 1530 and ship it to me to use for two weeks and then refurbish it before they ship it to you.

If they will give you a new one,I think it's good though you might have to wait.

It's definitely nice that I will be getting a new one now. I was just a little upset because I was so excited about getting the laptop and I really needed it asap. I guess being patient in this situation will pay off in the end. I just hope I get the right one this time.
