I've recently bought a XPS m1710 and all my leds on the laptop have ceased to lit today, except the LED on the touchpad. I've tried to make sure if it was something to do with the Quickset software but they are all turned ON.

I even tried to unplug the laptop, shutdown the laptop for a couple of seconds and restarted it but they never lighten up.

I don't know else what to do, I might call up TS later.
Any idea what's going on tho?

    Bah, solved!

I opened the Quickset software again but this time I played with the LEDS color shemes and the LEDs has lighten up again. Saved the properties and now it lighten up each time I open Windows.

The only odd thing I noticed is when I boot the computer, only the touchpad light on and the others doesn't lit until Windows is loaded.

QuickSet Help says there is a BIOS power-on default also for the LEDs. You might check and see.
