    My M1530 just arrived two days early! (NZ)

    Just a quick note for all the NZ readers out there.

    Based on the dates on the Dell order status page:
    - Online order accepted on Feb 3rd
    - Build started on the Feb 3rd
    - Build finished and shipped from factory on the Feb 6th
    - Scheduled for delivery on the Feb 14th and it arrived on Feb 12th :)

    I'll be opening it tonight and will update you when I know all is well.

    For the record, I ordered the M1530 with:
    Core Duo 2 T7700
    3GB RAM
    320GB 5400rpm drive
    1440x900 Truelife display

    It was shipped from Penang Airport. Not sure what day it actually left but it landed in NZ on the 11th. It would appear it sat somewhere in Malaysia for a while.

    So, for all you guys with pending orders... it took 6 business days. Not too shabby (but felt like forever ;) )

    Well, it seems ok so far :)

    The only thing I've spotted is the trim over/around the webcam bulges in the middle.

    It came with an LG screen (which seems pretty good) and a Samsung drive which I've barely noticed so far (i.e. no noise). It runs a little warm but not that bad.

    I ordered my xps M1530 on Feb.2
    Shipped out Feb.6
    Estimated deilivary Feb.19th :confused:
    I live in Canada BTW.
    Just wondering how accurate is the estimated delivary date Dell provides.
    I have a life you know.. I dont' want to wait at home :p
