Ive only had my 9300 for a couple days and the N popped off the darn thing. I contacted the tech support and they are sending another keyboard which no huge deal. It just concerns me that within 4 days something pops off the thing.
Am I the only one with that problem?? Maybe it was just a faulty keyboard or possibly i hit it too hard the wrong way, but the point is that it's 1400 for my system and the button pops off. lol. Doesn't give me a lotta faith.
Either way, Dell customer support was excellent. They sent me a new keyboard free of charge within 2-3 business days. But yeah, anyone else with this problem?

My "b" fell off after a couple of weeks...actually my PDA fell on it, and it just popped off. I've seen some complaints that the keys pop off to easily, but normally they pop back into place.
Also, when you get your new keyboard and replace the old, make sure to send the old back. Dell will charge you for the new one if you don't return the old one. They give you the return label and everything, and you just use the same box.

took a year and half for my I8600. But then I lost two on the same day. ESC and F10 keys.

My sister's 1100 right shift key fell off after a 8-9 months? Keyboards are no big deal though really its only like 15 bucks (ebay) to get it replaced. However, still they shouldnt be falling off.

my backspace key is dodgy and definitely not securely placed in there right . . .

****.
I got all excited and was like, "awesome!" free backup keyboard with extra keys to swap out. but seriously, the new retention system on these keyboards give me no faith. -
My N popped off too. I had to go to the doctor. I'm still recovering from surgery. At least it wasn't as bad as when my I popped out.

Hahaha, jokes.

hahahahaha, thanks. Yeah, they sent it and so far it's been fine, but to me the keys seem a little flimsy. And I could pop it back into place, then it would pop back out. So I got the invoice for it so i contacted prod serv and they said that they didn't require a return. Im like okay, whatever. If i see something coming outta my account I saved the chat and will send it to them.

yeah that's the best thing to do. You can talk to 3 different techs and get 3 different answers on whether you have to return something or not.
I can understand it since dell is such a huge company, but at the same time, its kind of ridiculous that they don't even have the same uniform answer on something has simple as returning hardware.
