    Folks,

Just want to say thanks to everyone for providing good information that helped me decide on a Dell.

I have a M760 chip with 2 gig RAM (purchased on ebay for $150, G.Skill - works great) UXGA widescreen with truelife. The system is excellent.

The whole purchasing experience was a pleasure. I've used Dell online chat 4 times, all good.

The display was a hard choice. I am glad I went with the 1920x1200 resolution. Everything is super sharp, like reading a hard copy document. In general, I need reading glasses to see anything inside 2 feet and I was concerned about smaller text. Because everything is so sharp and clear, it is easier on my eyes. I recommend the UXGA.

    Take care,
    Michael

I would agree I also need glasses to see and was somewhat worried but I have no problems at all. I think it is the crispness of the screen as well as the high contrast.
