love it !!...can't wait to get mine !!!
-
These pics make me want mine even more.
-
Nah, I didnt get the 9 Cell battery, but my brother has the Inspiron 1720 with 9 cell battery. I does stick out quite a bit, but nothing too terrible... I find the clean look of the 6 cell better.. but its really a personal choice...
I checked the 6-cells battery life... and with moderate use it ends up being around 4 hours with the Vostro. -
Damn you Dell!!!
Get my my i1520 NOW!! -
Nice pics.. I've had mine for almost a month and for some reason it's so nice it still makes me happy lol.
-
Thanks, and i know how you feel... Every time i look at it i get a "its so beautiful" moment. The screen is incredibly clear.... a pleasure to look at....
-
Where did you get those last two wallpapers?
-
more pics anyone?
-
Outstanding pics there, looks really nice. Nice to hear you got it so fast, you very lucky to have it shipped so fast.
Enjoy your notebook!
Im still waiting on my 1720 -
I hope it doesn't get caught up in the web of deceit that is Dell's Vortex of prolonged laptops
-
can i ask what screen you got?? and how is it... thanks
-
I got the 15.4 inch Widescreen XGA LCD w/ Trulife..
I know that a lot of people have been having problems with their screens, regarding graininess.... but I do not have any problem with the screen at all. I believe the color is crisp as is it should be, no dead pixels or yellowing of the screen colors at all... As you can see in the pics, the screens extremely clear.
The resolution is 1280 X 800.
-
any idea what brand it is?? do you know how to tell
-
Mines a AUO 2374,
To check yours, go to device manager in your control panel, under monitors, click on the device twice, in the next screen to go the DETAILS tab, and check your hardware ID under the pull-down menu which says device description.
-
i know how to tell lol..im suprised seeing as its a auo... ive had 2 of them and the second was worse than the first one... good for you im def glad you god a good one
-
Thanks, got lucky it seems...
-
whoa!!! auo screen huh!! seems like u got lucky mate.....
gr8 pics BTW!!!! -
Thanks,
I've been reading everywhere that the auo screens have been grainy.. i guess i got really lucky
-
Thanks lol I like it
-
I also have an AUO screen on XGA Truebrite 1280x800. No graininess and great colour. It does have above average light leakage but nothing that bothers me enough for a replacement.
I believe the graininess in the AUO is much more popular in the XGA+ category. -
wot the hell is light leakage?
How does this laptop handle games? Post some screens -
if i only could make that kind of pictures of my vostro...
-
Ooooo looks nice. I had looked at the inspiron 1521 and this looks just the same... except being all black... and your screen looks brighter too.
Now i'm all jealous... should have waited to get this one...
Good luck with it... enjoy!!!
