    My Order Shipped in 2 days???

    Hi everyone, has anybody in the UK had there new laptop delivered within two days of buying??? I ordered my M1530 - T7500, 8600 GT, 160 7200rpm HD, 3yr waranty and everything else on the 24/01/08 with the expected delivery date of 14/02/08, Dell actually shipped my order on the 25/01/08!!!! Even though i havent got it yet because i havent been home, it still seems awfully fast....

    Do Dell dispatch orders they have had returned for any reason by other customers and ship then to new customer if the spec is the same..????

    Dell has done this a few times from what I have read on the boards. Just check it and make sure there are no scratches or the screen is good.

    mmm not too impressed by this sort of business, will be checked over very carefully. I would have rather waited for them to build me a brand new one!

    I don't know if it differs in the UK, but I recently placed my order (01/24/08) and noticed I had two order numbers attached, one for the lojack and one for the actual system. The lojack order number shipped rather quickly, but I just got the shipping message on the system yesterday (01/27/08) and since it wasy Sunday I assume it will be loaded on the truck today.

    It's an assembly line in Malaysia or someplace similar. It can't take more than a couple of days for it to pass all the way through, with people at each station putting in the components that are requested.
