Yeah, I heard around 3 hours and 45 minutes while surfing/listening to music from a MBP. And it has better stuff in itI'd like to see some battery tests with the 6 cell XPS 1330 to get me to decide!

How do you know its NOT santarosa?? i'm just curious and if its not Santarosa is there any laptop out there with Santarosa??
-
The Santa Rosa platform includes the chipset, wireless and optionally Turbo Memory. The M1330 is based on the Santa Rosa platform (Crestline 965 mobile chipset and an Intel wireless card, specifically Kedron, 4965agn).
EDIT: Okay, perhaps I should clarify this a bit. Santa Rosa's chipset, Crestline supports an 800MHz FSB. So you're correct in saying that the T7xxx processors take advantage of this; however, they are not of a different architecture from previous Core 2 Duos, merely a faster FSB.
You can only get a Centrino sticker if you go with an Intel wireless card along with the Intel CPU and chipset. The poster got a Dell 1505 wireless n card so would get the Core 2 Duo sticker instead. Really not a big deal. -
I have the LCD2306 (suspected Toshiba) disiplay.
It is not as bright as I expected.
[By the way, re size comparisons. I think maybe with LED you need a wider bezel (borders). That may be why M1330 is the size it is.] -
There are also cable running in the bezel to the antennas and webcam/mike unit on the top... plus LED LCD panel and the whole thing is pretty tightly packed in there. And LCD2306 maybe a 'suspected' Toshiba in ur unit, in mine it's definitely Toshiba

Damn you and your m1330s... When is mine gonna come so i can discuss my build flaws and the not-so-bright screen and act like i actually care but really i just wanna brag about having one like you guys?
-
Oh, ur time'll come soon enough, don't u worry about it
-
Someone who have it with the 6 cell battery? And wanna test the battery life? Like while surfing/watching a movie/playing
