The speakers on the laptop are fine but its the audio output on the side that is not working properly. When I plug in speakers or headphones only sound comes from the left speaker and I constantly have to fidget the plug so that sound comes from the right side. Even the slightest movement of the laptop can cause the sound from the right to stop.
I am thinking of opening up my laptop and fixing it myself. My warranty expired with Dell and if I do send away for them to fix it it will be expensive and take weeks.

Has anyone had the same problem? What should I do?
