I purchased this a week ago from Best Buy for $799. I knew from reading reviews that the display was junk and would need to be swapped out. I couldn't tolerate the terrible viewing angles and washed out colors.
- i5-7300HQ
- 8GB RAM
- 1TB 5400 RPM HDD (junk)
- NVIDIA 1050
Upgrades
- 256GB M.2 SSD ( $40 - originally from a Lenovo Yoga 910 )
- 8GB 2400 Ballistics Sport ($65.71)
- AU Optronics B156HAN01.2 IPS Display ($67.99)
In the end, I have myself a very capable machine for a total of $1041.69. I highly recommend this machine. Heck if you're able to overlook the screen. Just a HDD and RAM upgrade would keep this well under $1k.

did you have to do anything special to get the new screen to fit?

I did somewhat of the same thing. I bought the lowest model inspiron 13 5000 2 in 1 before Christmas. I just installed my 16gb ballistix ram, and was all ready to install the 2 tb firecuda, but they shipped me the barracuda instead. So, I returned it, and am going to order the firecuda as soon as my refund is processed. Should be pretty quick after that is installed!

I bought Inspiron 7567 2 months ago and while listening music i can hear something bad sound from bottom of laptop and I decided to open the back part and I recognize this speaker I really dont know what it really is and it is demaged,
Can someone tell me what should I do? -
Oh, this one will be a tough fix. I am not sure if they come out or not. You will have to do some looking and reading. You might be able to replace it. You won't be able to fix it really.....well, that being said, I just looked at the picture, if it's just the cone pushed in get a some sort of computer vacuum and try to suck the cone back into position. I have replaced cones on large drivers but I don't think it's possible with that one.

Very nice.
I bought the i7/256GB+1TB/16GB RAM/1050Ti model. At the time, the only available panels were the FHD TN and 4K IPS panels.
I upgraded the FHD panel myself, first using an AUO B156HAN01.2 panel, but I didn't like it. It had one dead pixel, bad backlight uniformity, low brightness and dust trapped in the screen. After this, I bought an LG LP156WF6-SPB1 and this panel is awesome. All in all quite an expensive upgrade, but really worth it for the amazing battery life and build quality of this laptop. I sold the AUO panel at a small loss unfortunately, but no disaster.
My laptop feels complete now and the upgrade was really easy. I even think this panel is much better than the panel you would get ordering the FHD IPS panel from Dell (most likely a 45% NTSC panel).Last edited: May 22, 2017 -
Try and use a piece of tape or a vaccum cleaner to pop the dustcap on the subwoofer back out!... I don't understand how that got damaged , unless it was put down on something with the bottom cover opened! -
Can you hear it? any odd noises coming from it? If it is working properly, don't worry, its only the dust cover for the speaker voice coil. I have extensive experience in speaker building etc. So, if it's not making noises etc, no worries...

If it's under warranty have the speaker replaced.

nice!
I did almost the same with my old 7567, purchased it with the 7700hq and 1050ti, then upgraded with the m.2 (pm 951 256gb), +8gb ddr4 and the HAN01.2 display, result was nice, all issues (except the ridiculouly slow sd card reader lol) solved.
My budget upgraded Dell Inspiron 7567
