I reformatted my computer and i have a few problems.
When windows starts up i have the option of two Windows on one partition.
NOW Ive already read the instructions of how to get rid of it with msconfig and i did get rid of one of the three which leaves me here because both options have a working windows.
Apparently copying and pasting my drivers onto a cd didnt work ANd i cant connect to the internet.
So those are the two problems getting rid of one of the working windows and establishing and internet connection so i can update everything and get steam back.

Reformat again. This time, you should delete all the partitions, except the Diagnostics Partition (P1). Make sure to get rid of the partition which currently has your XP on it. When it registers as Unpartitioned space, select that as the partition to use for the fresh install.

Do you have the dell drivers CD? Depending on what model you have you might be able to get the drivers you need to connect off of there.

looks like you formatted one partition with XP and left your other partition with xp. I would probably reformat again. The guide is back up or I can walk you through the steps anytime on Thursday if you want.

What did you do with the drivers on your disc? Are these files that you downloaded from the net or did you back up your drivers folder? If you backedup your drivers folder, you need to place this folder back on to your c: drive. If you downloaded them, you need to run each file seperately and install it on your c: drive.

    This should fix your net.

Hey Southern Girl Like my second post says i did reformat again only now i have restarted and it no longer gives me an option. The drivers i had before i formatted i copyed and pasted them onto a cd, but apparently that didnt work because when i opend the cd there was nothing there. Now i just downloaded all my drivers from dell and used right click send to D. That didnt work either when i put the disk in the I9300 nothing showed up. When i put the disk in this computer nothing showed up but when i try to send to d again it asks to replace the file? Can you tell me whats going on/what im doing wrong?

Edit: Nevermind i found out what i was doing wrog i finally got the files on the disk. Ill see how it goes form here.

SOOOO after reinstallig the drivers my first two downloads were firefox and steam the CSS. I played CSS for an hour and a half then poop. The computer froze when it came to the keyboard did not work and i had to turn of the computer. The computer did not turn on with any of the special boot methods dell then told me to remove a half dozen things and try again then they decided that they would take it back for repairs because the mobo is dead.

I wish Dell would have made this easier by taking the notebook back in the begining of june. Too bad dell doesnt just replace it.
