    My cursor lags every now and then, help?

    Every now and then when I am just browsing the internet, usually when I click a link on a page and the browser is loading the page, my mouse will freeze in its current position for a few second, then warp to where I moved it to while it was frozen. It's REALLY annoying, and I would love it if I could get it figured out. :)

    To give you an idea of my system specs and it's current situation, here are a plethora of pictures. Any and all help is appreciated, ladies and gents.

    Also, I use PC Tools Spyware Doctor, Symantec Antivirus (per college requirements) and do scans pretty often.

    I just made a stunning revelation, it doesn't do this when I'm using the touchpad, but when I have a USB mouse plugged in, it does that. Should I get a new mouse, ya think?

    I don't know the answer to your question, but it is generally taboo to double post...or in this case 5x post.

    If you have a different mouse to try, post back your results.

    What's the "Optimize Services" program? That looks interesting...

    My only suggestion for mouse problem is make sure your drivers are up to date?
