Every now and then when I am just browsing the internet, usually when I click a link on a page and the browser is loading the page, my mouse will freeze in its current position for a few second, then warp to where I moved it to while it was frozen. It's REALLY annoying, and I would love it if I could get it figured out.![]()
To give you an idea of my system specs and it's current situation, here are a plethora of pictures. Any and all help is appreciated, ladies and gents.

Also, I use PC Tools Spyware Doctor, Symantec Antivirus (per college requirements) and do scans pretty often.

Sorry, I forgot, I have an Inspiron E1705.

Anyone have the slightest clue? I'd really appreciate it.

I just made a stunning revelation, it doesn't do this when I'm using the touchpad, but when I have a USB mouse plugged in, it does that. Should I get a new mouse, ya think?

I don't know the answer to your question, but it is generally taboo to double post...or in this case 5x post.
If you have a different mouse to try, post back your results. -
What's the "Optimize Services" program? That looks interesting...
My only suggestion for mouse problem is make sure your drivers are up to date? -
Optimize Services program is Vista Manager. Fantastic program, highly recommended, very much worth the money.

You know there are free programs that do that, right?

Yeah, but I had a lot of extra money coming home from Iraq, figured why the hell not, ya know?
-
Aww, for pay? Are there any free programs that make tweaking services that easy?

You may wanna ask that dude who posted last on the first page.
