For those of you without your Midnight Blue lappy's, you should note that no picture ever captures the real color. There is hardly any "blue" to it, and it almost looks black. The description of "Premium Dark Navy Blue" (found on invoices) is the perfect name for it.

How in the world did you get a free $100 gift card AND a remote?

Don't tell me that it's for the video card...They already fixed it when you ordered.

    No.

Actually, this blue is lighter than that. A true midnight blue would be similiar to the sky color at night during a nearly full moon. This blue is also about the same of the header above -- around the NoteBookReview.com , perhaps slightly darker.

I too am waiting patiently for my unit (ordered 7/13; due 8/13, 8/23) as are many others here. I have verified the colors a couple of weeks ago at a Dell kiosk. It is darker than the website initially showed, if that is what you are refering to.

I also ordered 7/19 (and a backup system on 8/7) The Indian CSR kept giving me the same canned response. 8/28

Meanwhile my current 6 year old Inspiron is rapidly going to pieces. Took 6 tries to boot it this morning!
