    My new 6000 came yesterday.

Here are few points I have to say about it:

This is a big and heavy computer. Nice keyboard, fell like full size.

I did not like what is install on the computer. Alot of alerts flashing and lots of tasks. It makes thing slow. Norton AV and McAfee were never a good AV. It is slow.

I use Partition Magic(PM) and see a hidden partition with 47 MB on it. It say drivers. I read somewhere and yes, DELL is hiding the drivers just in cause you need it. Its in FAT and the rest in NTSF. Dell, please dont do this. Space on notebook are at a premiums.

I wipe everything out and install my own XP Pro and now things are fast. Very fast.

This computer is Made in Malaysia(my country). The 700M was Made in China(on the box), but the bottom says Made in Malaysia.

I wish I didnt get WSXGA+. My regret. It makes everythings look tiny. It is always good to run in its on native resolution, but I have to fall back to 1280x800.

Overall, very happy with the purchase that I bought last week with the 1000 redemptions and I got the 80 gig HD. With the selling of my old notebook and the extra 9 cell battery I got, I can get it to around $500.
