Friend has a N7010 basic; no ATI , so stuck with Intel Vid.
At some point in the past, with the stock Windows 7, HDMI-out to HDTV worked.
Tried Windows 8 for awhile and among other things, could not get sync'd to any external HDMI monitor.
Went back to windows 7, current driver he's running is Ver. 8.15.10.2104 [intel hd3000].

can someone tell me a driver that you're using that just works for this HDMI-connect issue? I know I have worked the issue on a m101z and it took awhile, but finally got a late driver that would sync HDCP a lot easier than previous ones but I doubt that one had same chipset as the N7010.

    all help appreciated!
