I did a search, but all it did was confuse me more as discussion concerning this card was usually mixed in with other topics, so here goes.

This concerns mostly the Latitude D630/D830 line - or whatever else Dell the 135m card is in - as it seems to be the "weakest link in the chain". May be a useful reference for folks who want the fastest/most reliable performing driver, as this card progresses forward in it's life.

So i'll start. Driver version, and whatever performance benchmark you can offer (WEI, PCMark0X, etc.).

www.laptopvideo2go.com 101.43 - 3.6 on the WEI; extremely stable, no problems whatsoever, installation a breeze.

    Anyone else?

Is there an actual question in there somewhere? It may just be me, been up for 36 hours but I'm having difficulty following your post.

101.43 is a Vista driver, right? What driver works for XP 32?

Sorry about that. Yes, my system is Vista Business and 101.43 is a Vista driver for the NVIDIA 135m.

Anyone get better results with a different driver?

I've been looking, but I'm also using the 101.43 drivers and getting 3.6 on the WEI.

I'm not sure if they are working on new drivers now....is it possible to use reference drivers for the 8400 gs on this card?

Is the 101.43 a universal driver? Will it work with the 140M?

Not sure. But in my experience with NVIDIA drivers, if they're incompatible, will refuse to be installed anyway.

Anyone else care to chime in?

<-- New to the "driver" scene.

I've got a 135M w/ XP Home... anyone know the best and balanced setup for a user who uses the system both for gaming and word processing?

    Thanks
