    Hi all,

I apparently was a little too aggressive when replacing the keyboard on my 1750 and broke the little plastic connector latch. It's not repairable and this isn't a part that's sold individually.

From searching the 'net, it seems that I need to either get a new palmrest or a dead motherboard to replace the part. Anyone know for sure or have another suggestion?

Thanks in advance for any help :)

Are you actually talking about the ZIF latch for the keyboard on the motherboard? If that's broken you need a new motherboard as they don't come separate..

    Hi,

ZIF looks like what I need. Thanks - will see if I can get a dead motherboard to get the piece!
