Well, I'm having problem with my Bluetooth device after upgrading my OS from the original Vista to Windows 7 32-bit Home Premium. I tried searching the Dell website to no avail. I google it as well, unfortunately, the drivers didn't work as well. I hope someone can actually help me on this one...

    Thanks,
    Andoy

Windows 7 didn't automatically find the drivers? Did you try entering your service tag at support.dell.com? The Vista drivers will work for Windows 7, the driver model is near identical.

    Hi Tsunade_Hime,

Windows weren't able to download any compatible driver/s at all... Yep I already went to dell.com and typed in my service tag to no avail. And yes, downloaded the vista drivers too and tried installing it but failed... (Not compatible driver)

Any help will really be appreciated.

    Thanks

Is it the Dell Bluetooth module? Post up a screen shot of the device manager and the hardware ID page (right click on the unknown device, proprieties and go to Details and the Hardware ID's).

You need Broadcom drivers for Vista. Dell 355 never had win 7 drivers. Download newest Broadcom software 6.4.0.2100 from the internet and install Vista driver.

Jako, I'm using Windows 7 OS, is it okay if I install the vista drivers?
