My power adapter gave out after four years. It's a PA-12 adapter for my Inspiron 6000. Any recommendations on where I should buy the replacement? I found an original DELL replacement for about $30, which includes shipping. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You may find the newer PA-3 or PA-10 are less expensive (as well as being smaller and lighter). They are all 19.5V and compatible. Just check the current / power rating. Check the ebay sellers for the three model numbers.
