Well, I'm working on this laptop for a ladie down the street, its an old Latitude C400 that it looks like someone beet 7 different shades of **** out of it. I started off by backing up her data and formating the thing, clean install of XP. Well, that still didn't fix this one problem that its still having. When it goes into standby, it just refuses to come out of it. Any ideas? It probably has something to do that numerous things have been dropped on it. This seems hopeless.
