    Dear all..

now I have need another advise from you guys...
I am planning to buy Inspiron 9400 (or 6400)...
and I do play games, but the question is:

for Counter Strike 1.6, Warcraft Frozen Throne (and in the near future Counter Strike Source). Do I really need NVIDIA Go 7800 GS videocard?
Or is the ATI X1400 256MB enough, to play above games AT MAX resolution without lag????

I really need your guys' advise >.<......

You don`t really need a 7800 card for that, but if two years down the line you want to play Warcraft IV or Starcraft II or something, that x1400 will only render you a nice slideshow.

I had an E1505, the reason I got it over the 9400 was because I thoguht the X1400 would run games I usally play at decent framerates. I usually play America's Army online, Fear, Oblivion, offline. But I sold it and got a 9400 with 7900GS. If you're a student, then the 6400 is a better choice I guess, otherwise the 9400 would be the way to go. If you're a gamer, then why go with the lower end gfx card!
