Whick has better display(truelife or Led), keybord, touchpad and QUIET FAN?
(Studying needs)

Both displays are LED, and since they're the same resolution I'd say that they are equal. "TrueLife" is just Dell's way of saying glossy.
The Studio 15 has the option for a backlit keyboard, which the Inspiron does not have. If you get the Studio 15, make sure you get that option.
As for the touchpad, the Studio 15's wins hands down; it has a Synaptics pad capable of multitouch functions just like the Macbook 'pads. The Inspiron has a cheaper Alps pad that has a few gestures, and some people report skipping issues with it.
I can't speak for the Inspiron, but my Studio 15's fan rarely comes on unless I'm gaming, and when it does it's reasonably soft. -
Go for the studio, judging from the inspirons my family owns compared to my studio, the studio has a better build quality.

A didn't see anything like that in offer. -

The backlit keyboard was the decision maker for me. If you work in low or no light environments, it makes a world of a difference.

1MB L2 cache someone hit me on the head is it 1999 again??

), but there's just something nice about it.

I would say both machines would be about equal in terms of what you've given us to work with. The Inspiron will no doubt be cheaper - it is after all the budget line up. However, I'm very happy with my Inspiron 15. However, the Studio 15 will have better connectivity and the GPU included is marginally better (it's basically the same, but with higher clocks so gaming performance is increased a bit).
If the price difference doesn't make you shudder, I'd probably recommend going with the Studio. If the 1555 was out when I bought my 1545, I would have switched to it. As it was, the older 1535 was the only one available, and my Inspiron is a definite improvement over that. -
Just one question on dell studio 15.
I have read user reviews and they says studio 15 has problems.
One said that after 5 months hard drive has shut down forever, other that VGA is was not responsive after 3 months.
Well, I need laptop so I'm sure to work with 8 hours per day in word, excel, mathematica 6...
Also I keep my documents for school and I don't want to loose them.
Is it hard to install Windows 7 or Vista on studio 15? I mean, are there all drivers for studio 7 with Win 7 and Vista?
___
(Sorry for english) -
As for Windows 7, it's a pretty straightforward installation process, just like any other laptop these days. And yes, Dell has Windows 7 drivers available for the 1555.
My 1555 has been a fantastic machine all around. My exact hardware specs are in my sig if you're curious.
Need decision for laptop (inspiron or studio)
