I have a dell inspiron 1420 with a t7100 processor and the video card is fried the screen is scrambled even during boot up and even when booting up without a hard drive in. Have tried an external monitor but result is the same. Can the video card be replaced in the mother board or is it built in. Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Thank you

The GPU is soldered to the mainboard. Unfortunately, you are going to need a new mainboard in order to get back up and running.
