    Hi,
I bought an E1505 in the US and now im on vacation in Hong Kong.

Do I need a voltage converter, or just an adapter for the plug to the outlet?

I found the answer from dells forums. For people wondering, you do not need a voltage converter, just a plug adapter for the outlet prongs.

all you have to do is read the voltage rating on the power supply ;)

I think all dells are 110-240v 50-60Hz which pretty much covers you no matter where you go.

All you need is an adapter for the outlet. I've got mine connected to a 220V right now in Korea. :)

All you might need Mr. R is a plug to convert the PIN SHAPE.. the pins which are there on the power outlet are rectangular where far eastern countries might have round pins. No need to buy a voltage convertor. All DELL laptops work from 110 to 240 VOLTS @ 50~60 Hertz frequency.

yes all you need is the plug that converts the pin shape from the one we use to the triple rectangular one in hong kong

[IMG] the pin shape you want to convert to should look like the one with letter C
