Hello,
I got my replacement and I am trying to send back my orignal system but the procedure/direction paper and the return waybill that came with the new system is giving me some confusion.
In the "TO RETURN PRODUCTS TO DELL" paper,
Step 4: "On the box, look for a 1" x 2-1/2" white bar code label with 9-digits (e.g. 001234567). This number is your reference number. Please write this number in the billing reference field on the return airway bill label. This reference field may be either in area or area 4 of the return airway bill label."
2 questions concerning this:
1. The reference number is the order number, correct?
2. I looked at area 2 and 4 on the airway bill and there is no space for me to write the reference number. The sender already wrote on "Billing Reference" which is in area 3. The problem is that the number already written is different from my order number.. but it is 9-digit number.
Also, do you have to write the "Sender Account number". I have no idea what this is.
Experienced members please help!~

Calling dell is the easiest route. When I returned my 1420, they arranged for UPS to come and pickup my lappy, told me the reference number to write on the box. When UPS came, they already had a shipping label made out to put on the box.
Need help on returning system
