My sister in law's 5150 had HDD clicking issues so I decided to install a new HDD for her. However, now I have a different issue. The laptop powers up with the num lock light blinking then shuts off after about 10 seconds. The monitor never even comes on. Has anyone heard of this?

Oh geez ok yeah one of the modules was not in properly. However that only solved one issue and brought to light another. The power light is blinking orange then going to green.

Does the computer power-on and run? Does the problem go away if you take out the battery?

Nevermind, the LCD inverter was loose. I don't know how all this stuff got loose.
