    i build it on Dell.com
seem that Ubuntu OS lower the price of this laptop
i only use for surf web, download, office, play some game like PES, hope this configuration is enough for PES 2008

should i choose 4GB or the 2.2Ghz ? I think Ram can upgrade but chip can't
PLS list some pros and cons if i choose 128MB NVIDIA® GeForce® Go 8400M GS instead of X3100?

can i reinstall XP cause i dont have much knowledge about Ubuntu (still make backup for further study?

do i need to change some configuration ?

THanks, will purchase it when receive ur reply

It doesnt come with xp, so you will need to buy a license. If you have never used linux before, i suggest you dont buy a laptop with only linux on it. drop the specs a little. You dont need a top end processor for just web surfing. the 1.6ghz chip should be more than fine. the graphics card is over kill if you are just surfing again same with the 4gb ram. lower those components...add xp and get the 9 cell battery so you can use it on battery longer.

For your purpose, i recommend a machine with good cpu (T7100-T7300), big HHD (probably 250GB), 2GB RAM is ok, but you should have XP Pro for your PES 2008 if you don't have much gaming experience with linux.
