I have noticed about the dell coupons, student discount etc

Im a student in Canada, so i was wondering is there a way to use someone in US's discount and buy my computer?
    Will that work?
    If so, can i borrow anyone's student ""discount-ness""? ;)

I assume that US discounts wouldn't work on the Canadian website. If you bought your computer from the US it would work (I think).
