    Need some help finding drivers for Dell Inspiron 6000 and BroadCom BCM4322 WLAN card.

    Title pretty much says it all. I need some help finding drivers for Dell Inspiron 6000 and BroadCom BCM43222 WLAN card.

    I bought a BroadCom BCM43222 Dual Band 802.11 a/b/g/n WLAN card off eBay for an old (5 yrs.) Dell Inspiron 6000 that I'm trying to breathe some life back into.

    I've downloaded and installed Dell drivers R151519.exe and R295615.exe. I also downloaded Broadcom Wireless BCM43xx Driver v.4.170.25.12 as suggested by the eBay seller and none of the three worked.

    Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    This is not a card that was originally shipped with the 6000. You should be going to the Broadcom website and looking for a matching driver.

    What exactly doesn't work with the generic BCM43xx driver? Does it not find the card, or do you get this crappy "driver can't start" sort of error?

    I get the "driver can't start" Error 10. The card has the yellow exclamation mark in Device Manager.

    I downloaded another driver from the BroadCom site and will try that one tonight if I get a chance.

    *EDIT* Got it figured out. The eBay seller linked me to the wrong driver and I blindly just trusted it was the correct one. I did some digging on the BroadCom site and found the right ones. It even comes with and installed a very nice Dell Wireless WLAN Utility.

    Currently connected at 300Mbps on my "N" Home network and very happy with this $9.99 upgrade. :D

    Got the same problem but cant for the life of me find the driver on the broadcom site.
    Any chance of a link please? :)

    I bought a BCM43222 card off Ebay and none of the linked drivers work under XP. Finally found this one that works great: 300Mbps @ 5GHz.

    Sorry for resurrecting an old thread but since this is the first hit for "bcm43222 driver", maybe someone will find this helpful.
