So far the only way that I know of to get the audio to go through the HDMI is to set the HDMI as the default audio device and then restart the application.

What I would like to do is have the audio automatically going out of the laptop speakers or headphone ports unless I have an HDMI cable plugged in. Then I would like the laptop speakers to be cut off and the sound to automatically go through the HDMI.

    Has anyone found any solutions?
