So I've been noticing that my internal temps have increased over the past few months, and I would like to open my 1555 and clean out potential dust. But there's just one problem...I have never done this before (on a laptop I mean).

So, I'm a little anxious. Little screws, sensitive computer parts, voiding my warranty, yeah...I need some tips, advice, help, pictures, videos, you name it!

    --- OR

I could buy one of those compressed air cans and spray it into the air vent on the back to clean the dust out? I'm mostly just concerned about the GPU temps, but if this is an easier fix than a newbie fumbling with his laptop components, than I'd rather do that.

    Help!

Compressed air, blow it through the vents to dislodge any dust

Will do. I'll go buy a can tomorrow and report back if my temps changed a bit.

Hah, wow. So I sprayed some air into the vents, and my game temps dropped 12-15 degrees. Pretty nice!
