    Hi peeps, I need a new screen for my XPS GEN 2 do any of you know of any dealer that sells the 17" Samsung or any brand that will work for this particular model?

    You can do what ejl suggested, but last time I checked they did not have any 17in screens and just gave me the run around on when they would have any. Another option is to go with Dell Spare Parts but they will be a bit more expensive: http://warrantypartsdirect.dell.com/us/program/T1421000.ASP

    I tried finding a 17in earlier in the year at a cheaper price but didn't have very much luck. Of course there is always Ebay if you trust them.

    thank you very much for the reply I will try the suggestion...I was wondering if any of you had the same problem as my screen , it became unstable 3/4 up from the bottom(coulour was all smudged like a bar code) I had to press the screen at the left side corner which remedied the problem BUT it progressively got worst, now its completely blank.
