    I am new to this forum....
    I need a urgent information about the laptop purchase.
    I am looking for a laptop from either DELL or HP.....My friend are suggesting DELL XPS 1530 or 1330 .But i am interset in inspiron 1525 or some HP DV2600 series
    which will be better pls suggest a laptop

    My configuration
    Processor : I ntel Dual Core Processor
    Cache : 2-4MB
    Speed 2.0GHZ-2.2Ghz
    Opertaing system : Vista
    Display : 14-15"
    memory 3GB or 4GB
    Hard Drive 160GB or 250Gb
    Drive :DVD RW
    Video Card: Nvideo or Intel(which ever is best)
    Wireless LAN : 802.11g or n
    finger print reader
    and remaining accesories




    since i am working in electronis domain .i need atleasr 2gb and some high speed processor since most of my softwares are higher end.

    and also i listen music and watching movies and for games alos ..


    pls suggest some laptop .i am in oscillation which company i have to go HP or DELL whcih will be best in LAPTOP for OFFICE and GAMING purpose

    Ok, first of all if you value gaming, you wont dare let Intel make your GPU. They make an ok Wifi card and processor. You want Nvidia or ATI.

    Processor wise I think a T8300 or T9300 is wise since its based on new technology. 4GB of ram I think is useless really, 3 should be fine.

    Harddrive space is up to you and your personal use.

    Also depending on your gaming thirst. If you dont want to venture into DX10 territory (Crysis level) you should go with the 1330 level and its competitors. If you want more power you should step up to the 1530.

    Screen Wise, Im LED biased. Beautiful picture, might not be 1080p level but the one 1400x900 is still 720p capable.
