    Hi all,

I want to order this week the m1330,
i'm looking for notbook to carry around to the campus and work that also capable of some gaming...

i'm ordering from dell Hong kong so there is no LED option...

    my spec are:

    T7300, CCFL display /w 2mp cam, 2GB mem, 120GB 5400RPM, NVIDIA 8400m GS, BT, FP, 6 cell & 9 cell battary, Trendy carrying case .

    Total: 12360 HK$ which is 1580 US$.

(i'll upgrade the HD to 7200RPM later...)

i know that the LED option is one of the highlights of the m1330
but i dont have any other good options...

i considered the HP dv2500t or 6500t but the are much heavier,
    or maybe the M1210...

what do you think? should i go trough with the order?
Is the difference in battery life and Weight so significant?

    Thanks..

    Brightness too.

Do you absolutely have to order from HK?

The Asus U3 will be out later...if you can wait that long. It'll be a good/better alternative to the m1330.

    sony sz are really expansive...
    these specs:

    Sony Vaio VGN-SZ460N/C
    Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T7200 2.0GHz
    2GB DDR-2, 160GB,
TFT 13.3 WXGA XBRITE SCREEN 1280x800
NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 with TurboCache supporting 128MB
    DVD+R Double Layer / DVD±RW Drive

    Total : ~14000NIS that equals to 3250$...

so i cant really buy here, everything is much more expansive...
for 1500$ i can get the Hp dv6500 or a cheap Lenovo...

Why not the 1520? It has a decent mobile card for gaming and gets good battery life.

and only ~150$ difference in price...
