    Never Pay for overnight Shipping

    So I call myself "smart" because I paid for overnight shipping on my machine.

    Well yesterday my delivery date jumped again from this weekend to March something back to February 27th. Yes I am happy it is coming sooner.
    But when I saw the tracking number they recieved the package in Nashville at 3:44 A.M. this morning.

    So I said, "Being that Nashville is a mere 10 hours away I should be getting it Saturday....

    Wrong... Standard Overnight is handled By FEDEX and NOT UPS which means had I just went with the 3-5 day shipping I would have recieved it on Saturday...
    Instead I payed for overnight so I will now recieve it on Monday...

    The gods are not happy with me :(

    Yeah.... It has been an emotional rollercoaster

    Delivery date change 3 times... and had WoW ready to install Saturday night.... dreams are all gone

    That is so true. I'll never do it again. Mine was shipped on a saturday and Fedex sent it on Monday so I got it on tuesday....worst way to spend $89 bucks :(

    Well the best way is to get it for free. Once you place your order and it is in production...call Dell and ask for overnight shipping, because the process isn't fast enough.

    They upgraded me for free. :)

    I wonder some about the free upgrades... do we really know for sure that they are giving us an upgrade? I mean when I ordered my LCD, i got the next day, so I know that was upgrade. Yet when it came to my laptop, it seemed like it took 3 or 4 days for the free upgrade.

    Funny thing is regular run of the mill packages will eb delivered on Saturday..
    But an OVERNIGHT package has to sit and rot... just because

    Actually my friend go normal shipping and they said it would be delivered Monday cause it is still more to be delivered on Saturday.

    All I know is I got free 3-5 day. It got here before the arrival date in the email I got (Granted my mom stole the package. So I didn't know it until later.)
