Hey I just went to Dell.ca today and they are introducing a "new" inspiron 17 and 14.

Any idea if this means the 17 & 14 are a newer version than the 15, or have they just caught up? Or is the 15 likely going to come out with a "new" version soon?

The 17 & 14 are newer than the 15 in terms of launch dates, but they are based on the exact same framework. I would not expect a refresh of the Inspiron 1545 for quite some time yet.

the Studio 1555 basically just got released.... so I would still consider it "new"... as in like.. within the past 6 months.
