Okay after countless problems with my E1705 and 3 replacements and arguing with dell everyday i finally got a replacment, rather a new system the 1720. The 1720 is a good system but im having problems with the headphone jack and screen. Recently i was listening 2 music with my headphones and i kept hearing a wierd noise. Then i turn my music off and i could hear the "wine" clearly. Its a nonstop noise too. Now on 2 my screen, when i play videos or moives it looks "grayish" . And i have a SEC screen. I have horrible dumpster juice garbage backlighting. I will take pics later. And no HDMI. Im am very tired of calling in Dell. All they goona do is give me a replacement with the same problems. What shuld i do?

It is possible they'll give you a replacement without the same problems.
Considering you have both a bad screen and the headphone jack noise, there's not much you can do other than having it replaced.
There's not much you can do about the lack of a HDMI interface though, short of buying a model that has one.
