I just did it on my workmate's brand new 1520. It went smoothly. Her 1520 has a white lid and Samsung LCD (WSVGA+) which looks really nice, but a little bit on the heavy side.

Hmmm... maybe enhancement #2 is to support the upcoming Penryn processors. Don't know for sure though.

    Hey Dell 1520 owners,
I had ordered the ruby red 1520 but when i found out mine got delayed an extra month on top of my delivery date i went looking elsewhere i bought the HP Pavillion dv6462ca a special edition that future shop built.

    http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...99&catid=25315

The only thing I noticed is the mouse pad is quite warm so warm that it makes my hand sweat and it just doesnt fill normal to me as i have used laptops in the past and they were not like that. I only bought it yesterday and got it today. I was wondering if the dell 1520 mousepad is warm as well. I am thinking about bringing the HP back but i dont want the dell either if it does the same thing. HP told me he get so warm because of all the stuff i have in it, but i dont think i can use it long term like that. So i am just wondering if the dells are warm as well. Thanks Guys )

The handpalm does not get warm at all, using it right now for 7 hours straight, not even close to burning my hands...
