Now, before I get the not a good deal routine. I did not get the double stacking, nor the $350 off, so this is the best I could do for under $1000, with just the $200 off coupon for the EPP, and the 4% for at home, and 4% for DPA.

Please let me know what you think..

    Inspirion 1420
    Proc: Intel Core 2 Duo T7100, 1.8GHz, 800Mhz 2M L2 Cache
    Color: Espresso Brown
    Ram: 2GB 667mhz
Screen: 14.1 WXGA 1280x880 or whatever (glossy)
    HD: 160gb 5400rpm
    Video Card: GeForce 8400M GS w 128mb
    OS: Vista Premium
CD/DVD: CD/DVD Combo (no DVD burner)
    Wireless: Intel 3945 a/g card
Battery: 6 cell and 9 cell
Warranty: 1 year at home, 1 year limited

Total after $200 off coupon, 4% off for 1 year at home, 4% off for using DPA account and after tax/shipping (I got a free upgrade to next day on that) is........$983.24

I also managed to finagle a free laptop bag off Dell for when my order ships.

One final question though... is 1280x880 good enough for a 14inch laptop?

Yeah I just wish I had pulled the trigger when the 350 off was going on, or the double stacking.. But even without, for under 1k, I think it'll work nice.
