Hey, couple of questions in regard to the 1505:

    1) How do I change the bandwidth channel to 40 MHz so that I can get 270Mbps?

    2) Is there any documentation in regard to the advanced property settings? (please see attached)

That was an incredibly useful update, thanks!!

My 1420 with the dell 1390 card took upwards of 30 seconds to connect to the network with the old driver. This new one allows me to be on the internet pretty much instantly rather than the long delay I kept having to deal with ( kept saying searching for network until it finally connected to my Motorola SBG900 router). My M1330 with the intel card doesn't have this problem, nor did my old truemobile 1150 card on my old Dell laptop; only this 1390 gave me network connection problems ( did the usual, uninstall, reinstall, change every configuration possible without success). Seems Dell figured out there was an issue within Vista because this updated driver has taken care of the problem.

Thanks Nizzy for solving this annoying head scratcher for me!!

I found the old driver to be quite slow. It "seems" slower then the old technology.

I was able to find the link on Dell's site direct to the new driver in case anyone wants to download this directly.

I hope this driver helps a bit to speed things up :)
