    The Inspiron will never have great specs. They want people to upgrade to the higher-end systems.

    I really wish Dell would come out with a nice, slimmed size of a 13-14" with really spectacular specs...Wait..Am I wanting to much?? :eek: :( :p

    i mostly mean it's a heavy brick.

    toshiba protege R series are ~3.3 lbs and you get an optical drive

    M14x.... its not really that slim, but its really their new small workhorse with big muscle.


    I really would like the 13Z as a "daily" computer. Who knows... maybe I will get one down the road to accompany my 17R
