Already posted on the front/home page actually

Still, it looks like a nice machine though...
-
Agreed. Although as other readers have noted, it's not the most unique looking machine out there. The speaker grills beside the keyboard are very MBP-esque. Still, if it's that thin and they manage to equip it with powerful components [read: graphics card], it will be a hit. If it's just a basic lappy that looks really nice, well...

ugly dells were kinda endearing.....
this is just like one of those trashy makeover shows.
and im amazed it took dell that long to get it looking like a MBP [not tapered, thin and no flashing lights]. although by the time this is out MBP will be having a facelift as well plus that cool multitouch pad -

I think that is a pretty neat looking design. Glad to see Dell is turning around on the looks department.
-
it looks pretty sleek. I like the new design
-
At most it will have an 8400M GS. Anything more won't fit or will be too hot.
-
Looks kind of like a MacBook Pro or something...
-
That would kinda suck. lol. Well as long as it ain't no 1525 with those sucky configuration options I guess it's... alright. I'm still not comfortable with the thought of a 15" or higher laptop with an 8400M GS, although given this new thing looks really thin, I guess it should pass.
Or maybe by the time they release this thing, it will be equipped with the 9500 GS everyone's been so worked up on when it was seen in an Asus during CES. From the name, sounds like a mid-range GPU. -
Unique is not anywhere near the top of my list of desires when it comes to a laptop.
-
What do you base that on? Cause it sounds like a load of bs to me to be honest. Look at the mbp, it's about the same height and it comes with a 8600GT, or look at the Vaio FZ, same height (at least at the spot where the gpu is located) and it comes with a 8600GS (for now....). Size will be less and less of a limitation, mark my words.
But if anyone has a model nr for that thing we could probably make a better predicament, Dell isn't that much of a mystery...

I really like the look of this unit. I would like to see it become reality and go into production. Although, with the materials they are planning to use, the thing will probably cost an arm and a leg. Overall, it will probably be a hot item.
