I am expecting delivery of an M1330.
Does anyone have a list of bloatware to remove? (other than ISP offers like AOL etc). There seems to be a debate on whether its better to just reinstall the OS. Is this relatively easy with Vista and M1330? Or do I have to install a whole array of drivers and other tweaks after I reinstall the OS.
    Thanks

If I can assist, follow the Clean Install thread below and then consider the Tweaking thread afterwords They are hot linked so just click on one.

Also, to ease your worry, they were both done using my M1330.

It doesn't take long at all to reinstall, about 30 minutes for me from inserting the disk to loading into my area.

It also has the benefit of letting you stick a partition (or two) onto the disk so you can seperate your stuff from the OS and programs. That way you can reinstall whenever you like without having to worry about your data. :)

Definitely reinstall. It will teach you a thing or two about your system, too.

Good luck. Tons of resources on this board.
