So I'll be receiving my XPS M1530 tomorrow.
I was wondering what steps I need to take to clean off all the bloatware?
Do I just pop in the format cd right when I get it?
Also what virus protection and firewall do you recommend?

There is a Clean Install and tweaking guide below my sig block. I, as well, have been using AVG free version for years and never caught a virus yet!!
