    New Dell Precision Line

    The current M65 and M90 are 1 year old, any idea when new models are coming, or should I just purchase now ?

    It wouldn't be until the May / June time frame at the absolute earliest because Dell doesn't refresh the Precision line very often, or at least not until a significant processor and chipset upgrade is available. Realistically I would say it's summer or fall before anything gets changed there, the consumer line is always the first to adopt the latest processor technology.

    Business customers only demand new technology when their previous leases expire. And since a lot of business customers are just now switching from pentium M CPUs to Duos, Dell probably doesn't feel especially rushed to update the Precision line.

    On a similar topic, when is the ageing dell e1505/6400 going to be replaced? Even though the specs are good, the actual laptop is based on a very last-gen design.

    I called Dell and asked, they said in the summetime, that´s all they could say at this point.
