I know this gets posted here often, but maybe someone can point me to the thread that will answer my questiosn directly.

I have a new e1705 on the way this week, and I will want to install other drives than Dell's for the 7800 GO. My questions are:

    1. Which drivers would you recommend, with the least risk of frying my video card.

    2. Can someone post a link or some instructions on how to install these new drivers.

    Thanks so much.

First you need to get rid of those dell drivers get this ones http://www.tweaksrus.com/index.php?option=com_docman&task=cat_view&gid=163&Itemid=41/

They are the Extreme G mobile drivers it would get all the options for your card and you can optimize overclock it, to keep it safe and to not overclock it to the max to get a 3dmark05 5500.
And fallow the other link to know how to install them.
