The first one is about a toshiba, so unrelated to Dell.
On CNET, they might just have it up there early. It's hard to think that Dell will release an XPS in May since I don't think they have even confirmed that they are updating the XPS. Then again, dell is pretty secretive about future releases. -
-
Well if you think about an event coming up...things will make sense
-
well i didn't read all of it.
What event is that? -
saw this notebook at CES behind closed doors. as cool as the graphics card is, the touchpad and the color was probably the coolest part... -
So the mystery of why Toshiba cheaped out on the P100 (currently with pathetically low-end 7300Go graphics) is finally revealed. Here's hoping they'd release the same thing here in Canada.
About the XPS new XPS, I'm assuming it'll be coming with 7900GTX graphics? Doesn't make sense to use the 7900GS right?
edit: Abaxter,
Do you know how much the new XPS is going to cost? Same price or more expensive than the XPS-M170? -
Updated M170 probably april 14th, all the duo options up to 2.16Ghz.
Video card options: 7900GS and 7900GTX -
how do u figure that.....did u pick that date out of the clear blue or u have some insight? -
My Octolebian speekhan da doyatch notebuken kernechtun claims that it will cost around 2000 euros ( 2406 U.S. dollars) for the XPS M1710.

This would be great. Core duo and better graphics
Lets hope it happens.

-
.. nah it was mentioned as in mentioned to me. Didn't read it or disclose it from a written source.
-
well i hope your source is better than your govenor....lol
but with all seriousness i am anticipating a new m170 so that would be great....the issue with the e1705 made me wait and the waiting might pay off since i dont want to wait any more!!! -
heh well last term, so out the door he goes
...
But yeah, even if I was off target on the date, they're definitely coming out sometime in april, a few other sources have speculated that on the web. If a M170 option is something you're considering, I'd wait till then to see how things pan out. As far as the price goes though, that's another story .. probably similar to previous M170 intro prices..
I was all gloating when I got my 1705 2.0 and 7800... but now a M170 with duo and 7900 GTX....:jealous:

unless like some i am blessed enough to spend a "lil" extra on a new lappie so i dont mind,...when i got my first lappie a gateway solo 9300...it was the best they had at the time....i spent 2000+ then i think...so now that im a lil older and a lil more experienced with comp's in general i'm excited to get another one but i dont want to run out and grap something and then the next best comes out tomorrow...although i know this is going to happen, but i'll be happier with upgraded m170....thanks dell almost got e1705,,,whew -

Two programmed graphics boards: 7900 Go Gs and 7900 Go GTX
Until A 4 Go of RAM 667... -
Metamorphical Good computer user
Sounds like one slayer of a notebook. That's going to cost a heck of alot even with epp.
Lol. My A.D.D. has me trying to imagine what Mr. Baxter is talking about with 'cool touchpad.' The thing must glow from beneath. -
how true.....that bad boy sounds like it will levitate too...
still i cant wait....the bad thing is my local kiosk probably wouldn't get it until a month later.....this is all assuming if this info is correct of course....thanks for translate mini!!! -
