This is my first laptop so I have nothing to compare it too but so far I love it! I have a couple of questions though:

    1. I got the 4 year extended warranty and was wondering if I could still upgrade to Complete Care should I choose to anytime in the future? I went to Dell's website and put in my Service Tag and didn't see a Complete Care extended option or what it would cost. I guess I don't exactly what my 4 year limited warranty covers? If I can upgrade to Complete Care would it be a worth while investment or am I pretty covered?

    2. Is it ever acceptable to have the lid closed while the laptop is running say maybe in Sleep mode?

Should be no problem with the lid closed with the laptop on. However, I wouldn't recommend it while gaming as the vent on the top pulls in more air than you'd think. I had the lid closed while playing and the processor got a little warmer than usual and the fan kicked on high within half an hour. But with the lid open, the fan never kicks on high, even after hours of game play.
